Orla Gartland

Singer / Songwriter

Hailing from Dublin and based in London, Orla Gartland's brand of alt pop tips the cap to a spectrum of artists who - like Orla - push their personality to the forefront of their music. She has played sold-out headline tours in her homeland, the UK & US and along the way opened stages for acts such as Sigrid, dodie, and James Vincent McMorrow. Two of Orla's tracks from her Freckle Season EP ‘Did it To Myself’ and ‘Heavy’ were prime features in the hit BBC TV series 'Normal People'.

Her highly anticipated debut album, 'Woman on the Internet' was released in August 2021 and not only reached #10 on the UK Album Chart but also managed to top the UK Indie Album Chart. Multiple tracks received radio play including ‘More Like You’ being made Introducing Track of the Week on BBC Radio 1 and ‘You're Not Special Babe’ earning Track of the Week on BBC Radio 2.

In 2022, her track 'Why Am I Like This' synced on Netflix's 'Heartstopper' in Season 2 and the album went viral. Subsequently, Orla has reached over 35 million streams on Spotify alone and played sold-out shows across Europe. Alongside her own projects, Orla tours as a session guitarist for dodie and writes for others with cuts released by artists such as BTS, XYLO and Greta Isaac.
